Savewater!® efficiency service
Professional water audits for all businesses
Often business sites can achieve significant water savings by undergoing an audit and retrofit process. The Savewater!® efficiency service (SWES) is designed to guide businesses through this simple process to implement water usage changes to help save water and money. It is a proven service that commercial, institutional and industrial customers have used to save water and money.
What is SWES?
The program utilises a three step process to achieve water savings. Through the service the save water! ™ team will review your site and develop a plan with recommendations on water saving options complete with water volumes, costing and payback periods.
1. Site Assessment
- Experienced assessors will conduct a thorough water efficiency appraisal.
- All water using fixtures are assessed.
- Water consumption and potential savings are quantified.
If there is potential to achieve more than 5% savings on-site, you will proceed to step 2. If there are less than 5% savings available, there are no costs incurred!
2. Site Report
-
A comprehensive report with itemised water using fixtures.
-
Recommendations for an on-site program for saving water, listed in priority order.
- Forecasted water savings, cost of implementation and estimated payback periods are identified.
If you accept the recommendations, you proceed to step 3.
3. Implementation
- The recommendations detailed in the report are implemented on site through consultation with key service providers.
Your site water usage will be monitored post implementation to determine the water savings that you achieve.
What are the benefits?
- Guaranteed minimum 5% water savings - If we cannot identify more than 5% savings then the initial assessment is free of charge.
- Expert advice from trained assessors - The assessors consist of engineers, plumbers and people with extensive background in the management of water systems.
- Pay as you save - No need for up front payment. A regular payment arrangement can be agreed and charged on your water bill (conditions apply).
How much does it cost?
- The cost of the service will vary depending on the site size and business type.
- The cost of the water audit is determined at the initial site inspection.
- The cost of the retrofit will be determined after the audit has been conducted.
Who has used the SWES?
The SWES has been used by large and small customers across a variety of industry types such as councils, schools, office and commercial sites, smaller industrial sites and shopping centres. View case studies.
