Ways to pay your bill
Direct Debit
With a Direct Debit arrangement, your bills will automatically be paid on their due date.
To set-up or manage this, log into MyAccount or call us on 1300 304 688.
Alternatively, you can set up automatic payments from your bank account, credit union account, or VISA or Mastercard.
Direct Debit arrangements can be changed or cancelled at any time with three business days’ notice for bank or credit union accounts, or 1 business days’ notice for VISA or Mastercard.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
EFT allows you to pay your water bill by transferring money directly from your bank account.
Our BSB and bank account number will be listed in the 'How to pay' section of your bill. Payment will need to be made through your bank.
If you have multiple accounts with us, a unique bank account will be provided for each account you have with us.
To make sure your payment is allocated to the correct Yarra Valley Water account, you’ll need to use the correct bank account number for each separate account you want to pay. We’re unable to accept payments for multiple accounts using one bank account number.

BPAY
Look for the BPAY logo on your bill to find the biller code and reference number.
You’ll then need to call your bank or log into your internet banking, select BPAY or the bill payment option and follow the instructions.
MyAccount
Smoothpay - smaller fortnightly or monthly payments
Our SmoothPay service allows you to pay your bill in fortnightly or monthly instalments that are spread evenly over the year, helping you budget and avoid large payments.

Credit card
You can pay by credit card either online or over the phone. Call 1300 362 332 to pay by VISA or Mastercard 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note that AMEX and Diners Club are not accepted.
AusPost Billpay
Pay in person at any Australia Post office by cash, cheque or credit card. Remember to take a copy of your bill with you, as they need the barcode to process your payment.
Centrepay
Centrelink customers can set up regular deductions from their Centrelink payments. You can choose to combine this with a SmoothPay arrangement to make payment and budgeting even easier.
To set up Centrepay, you’ll need to contact Centrelink and provide them with the Yarra Valley Water customer reference number: 555 054 118T.

- In person at a Centrelink Service Centre
- Calling Centrelink directly on your regular payment phone number.
Scam warning for customers
Yarra Valley Water is aware of a scam that is offering customers a 30 per cent discount on their water bills. The company offers to pay the bill, asks you to confirm the payment has been made and then gets you to transfer the money into their bank account.
If you are contacted by someone offering you a 30 per cent discount, do not provide any information and contact us immediately on 1300 853 811.
If you think you have provided your credit or debit card or account details to a scammer, contact your bank or financial institution immediately.
