Yarra Valley Water working together with your local council.

Yarra Valley Water works closely with your local Environmental Health Team to ensure that together we protect the safety of our environment and the sewer network.

We are always anxious to prevent sewer spills entering the environment.

What this means to you

At your next food inspection you may be asked to show your Health Officer where your grease trap is located and provide a copy of your most recent pump-out docket. If you are unable to provide either of these, the Officer may notify Yarra Valley Water and then your will be contacted by us.

It is important that you keep a copy of your Trade Waste Agreement (which details your requirements) and your most recent pump-out docket with your Food Safety documents so you have it ready to show your Health Officer at your next inspection.
