Diversity, equity and inclusion
At Yarra Valley Water, we celebrate what makes us unique and commit to always working to build a more equitable and inclusive environment, where everyone can belong and thrive together.
Our employees should all experience equal access to support, systems and workplace benefits so they can thrive here with us. Our leaders have the ability to lead diverse teams and are held accountable for their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) outcomes.
We also have employee-led working groups in place to further drive and embed our DEI initiatives and culture into our workplace. This commitment benefits our customers and communities and current and future employees. It enables us to deliver on our 2030 strategy.
Our commitment to reconciliation
Our Reconciliation Action Plan contributes to a society that celebrates and protects the ongoing cultural and spiritual connections of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to the land and waterways. As such, we are actively seeking expressions of interest from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants to enable us to build a strong talent database of diverse candidates.
