What to expect
- Working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm and some Saturdays from 7 am to 3 pm.
- In addition to closing a section of the Northern Oval, we plan to set up a site office and storage area near the tennis courts car park. This area will be fenced.
- There will be restricted car parking near the tennis courts.
- There will be increased traffic and construction vehicles within the reserve.
- Our work will be noisy.
- While we’ve timed the works to avoid peak times for sporting seasons and events, our work will cause disruption.

How long will the works take?
We'll be working from mid-January to at least April 2025.
Why do we need to do this work?
Our sewerage network at Andersons Creek was built in the 1980s and a section of the pipe and embankment has collapsed. We need to construct a new sewer pipeline, upgrade the aging infrastructure and rebuild the embankment.
Who is doing these works?
The works will be completed by our contractors, Aquametro. They will set up temporary fencing and will be using part of the car park area.
