Yuroke Pump Station project
Works to build the underground sewer pump station at 85 Hillview Road, Greenvale, started in January 2024. This work is being completed by our project partner, Jaydo Construction.
We expect this project will take about twelve months to complete, subject to ground conditions and weather.
To connect the new pump station to the existing sewerage network, a 250-metre-long section of new sewer main will also be constructed.
This network improvement is required to ensure the increasing population in Greenvale continues to have access to a reliable sewerage service and overcome a shortfall in the existing sewerage network.
What to expect
- Your water and/or sewerage services will not be affected.
- We won’t need to enter neighbouring properties.
- Normal working hours will be 7.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, and 7.00 am to 3.00 pm on Saturdays
- Some sections of the will be open cut and may require rock breaking, which can be noisy and dusty, and you may feel vibrations.
- There will be vehicles and machinery activity and noise in the area
