Mt Ridley Road Water Supply Project
These drinking water and recycled water pipelines will extend our supply network to meet future demand in this fast-growing area.
What’s involved in the works?
- Our Project Partner, Jaydo Construction, will be doing service and ground investigations in May/June 2025.
- We expect to start pipeline construction in July 2025, and the works will take up to 2 years to complete.
- Each pipeline, approximately 2.3 km long, will be constructed in the road reserve on the northern side of Mt Ridley Road using open cut trenches.
- After the drinking water pipe is installed, we’ll start construction work for the recycled water pipeline.
What to expect
- Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 5 pm. If required, there may be some work on Saturday, 7 am to 3 pm.
- There will be short-term, restricted access to driveways as we work in front of each property, and we’ll work with local residents to discuss property access.
- Construction noise and dust, especially as we excavate the trenches along Mt Ridley Road.
- There may be short traffic delays and interruptions as we bring heavy equipment to site. For your safety, please follow the directions of traffic controllers.
- Some trees and vegetation may need to be trimmed or removed.
